Description

This piece is a hand-carved dinosaur sculpture made from natural fluorite, showing the stone’s characteristic banding and color transitions from clear to green. The carving depicts a long-necked sauropod in a standing pose, mounted on an integrated fluorite base carved from the same piece of material. The translucence of the stone allows light to pass through the figure, highlighting internal layers and mineral zoning.

Fluorite is known for its cubic crystal structure and wide color range, and pieces like this vary naturally in clarity, tone, and pattern. Because each carving is shaped from a unique section of the mineral, no two are exactly alike.
