School Group Programs

At The Montana Dinosaur Center, we believe that active, hands-on learning is the key to sparking curiosity and fostering a deep understanding of paleontology. Our interactive school programs offer students the opportunity to dive into the fascinating world of dinosaurs and ancient life in a way that goes far beyond textbooks. Let your students experience paleontology firsthand through engaging and educational activities designed for school groups.

To take advantage of our special school group discounts, the group must be part of a state-recognized educational institution. For information on our general dig programs, please click here.

This interactive experience gives students the chance to see, touch, and learn about real dinosaur bones, while also witnessing the delicate process of fossil preparation by our dedicated team. Walk through our museum gallery and watch paleontology come to life before your eyes!

Museum Tour & Activity Combo

Enhance your museum experience by adding a fun, hands-on activity that complements the tour. After exploring the exhibits, students can participate in activities such as making their own plaster “dinosaur tracks” or solving clues in a museum-wide paleontology scavenger hunt. These interactive sessions are designed to reinforce what students have learned during the tour, making for an unforgettable educational experience.
