Ark: Survival Evolved is a sandbox survival game. Explorers (players) are dropped on a mysterious island filled with prehistoric animals with no idea how they arrived. Explorers must learn new skills, build equipment and structures, and learn how to live amongst prehistoric creatures in order to discover the mysteries of the island and escape! It’s not all fun and games though, Montana Dinosaur Staff are developing educational content about the ecologies of each animal on the Ark, how ecosystems work compared to the ecosystems found on the Ark, science communication based on how each animal looks versus its real-life counterpart, and information about genetics and evolution.

Our in-game discussions will be designed for a wide range of audiences. Co-operative play will be encouraged with Ark’s baked-in tribe dynamics.
